A nitrogen-free feed that puts the plant's energy into color instead of leaves.
The reds, pinks and purples in flowers and fruit come from anthocyanin pigments — and the plant only builds them when it has the right nutrients and is not busy pushing new foliage. Color Burst supplies phosphorus, potassium and the trace elements that drive pigment synthesis, and deliberately carries no nitrogen so the plant commits to color and ripening rather than more leaves.
High phosphorus and potassium with anthocyanin-supporting trace elements drive pigment biosynthesis in fruit skin and petals. Color development accelerates and uniformity improves in the two weeks before harvest.
When do I spray?
In the two weeks before you expect color, and again a week later.
Why no nitrogen?
Nitrogen pushes leafy growth, which competes with flowering and fruiting. Leaving it out keeps the plant focused on color.
Will it work on hydrangeas?
It intensifies the color the plant is already producing. It does not change hydrangea color between pink and blue — that is soil pH.
